Children Playing On A Beach by Mary Cassatt

This is a print of the painting "Children Playing on a Beach" by 19th century artist Mary Cassatt in 1884. These two little girls in their short sleeve dresses and pinafores seem overdressed, by today's standards, for a day at the beach. They are happily filling their sand buckets, oblivious to the boats in the background. This very fine print is available in 32 by 24 inch size, image size is 26 1/2 by 20 1/2 inches.

Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose by John Singer Sargent

John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) was an American, born in Italy and living most of his adult life in London. This new print from his painting "Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose" pictures two little girls lighting Chinese lanterns for a garden party. the girls stand in a profusion of lilies and roses, which perhaps, inspired the title. Before electric lights were common, candle lit lanterns such as these were popular for outdoor lighting. They must have posed a fire hazard since the lanterns were made of paper. The print measures 14 by 11 inches overall, image size is 10-1/4 by 8-3/4 inches. Ready to frame.

A Girl With A Kitten by Perronneau

This classic art print is from an 18th century painting by Jean Baptiste Perronneau. The pretty little girl looks stiff in her high fashion dress. Her kitten peers at the viewer from her lap. Jean-Baptiste Perronneau was a French Rococo Era Painter, circa 1715-1783. He specialized in portraits. This new print measures 11 by 14 inches.
