Born in Paris in 1946
and raised in an idyllic French countryside near the Loire Valley, Jacques Lamy started to
paint at an early age. He completed his artistic training at the prestigious Ecole
Nationale Superleure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. In 1985 Lamy came to the United
States on business and while visiting Dallas, Texas, decided to make it his home. He has
since become known as a respected Dallas artist who offers a combination of French
artistic sense with the dynamic energy of his adopted home. Lamy is well known for his
classic fresco murals as well as his paintings.
