Charlot Byi was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania in 1920. She began drawing at a very early age. After receiving formal art training at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, she illustrated books and greeting cards. Eventually she was employed by W. Goebel where she designed over 100 figurines, dolls and plates. Collectors enjoy her playful style of loveable children, bouncy redheads and precious angels in all of her wonderful art prints and designs.
